Hello Everyone!

Welcome to our Queen's Sustainability Conference (QSUS) website. We are incredibly excited for all the fun events and activities this year has in store for QSUS! We are a university club that is committed to making the process of learning about sustainability a lively, engaging, and practical experience for the students at Queen’s University. Besides our expansive conference held every Winter term, we love to host speaker panels, fundraisers, social media campaigns and more to open a discussion about the various “subdivisions” of sustainability.

We believe there are few issues today that are more pressing than sustainability. We are at a critical point with climate change where we need to start making significant change immediately. We are passionate about not just environmental sustainability, but also social, cultural, and economic sustainability. As students and the next generation about to enter the workforce, we believe that growing the sustainability movement in the Queen's and Kingston communities is imperative.

By attending our events and engaging with our content on social media, you are taking the steps toward committing to a better, brighter future for yourself and generations to come. To practice sustainability, we must do the learning first. But learning doesn’t have to mean sitting in a classroom being lectured by a professor. We believe we learn better when we engage in meaningful conversation with our peers, on topics that not only are interesting, but impact us on a day-to-day basis.
